Peachbeach’s Attila Szamosi turned the annoying ring of the alarm clock into a cutting-edge design! After Face Tattoo this is the second time he has a submission turned into a shirt.

Even though there’s nothing to like about annoying alarm clocks, there is much to like about this design. Congrats to Attila and to Dxtr who both are rewarded with 500 $ and a 50$ coupon.

And we also have a second prize this time: Ignacio from Spain sent us this funny interpretation of the tale of little red riding hood. With this shirt you might have something to explain to children… but this is worth the fun.

Please welcome our new Scribtee designs that were absolutely worthy of being printed and worn on T-Shirts and winning 500 €.

Number one: Connected. The last business meeting of Jesus and his desciples, maybe argueing about future strategies, whether or not to invest in new SAP software or coordinating forces for Judgement Day. A design by Benny Kohl, who scores his second Scribtee - the first one was “Just Loving Music”, but that was way back in the days. So we are happy to see him returning.

Number two: Mr. Tool. This handy fellow is the swiss army knife for everyone who has a creative job. And certainly a good friend of Lars Wunderlich, who brought this little Frankenstein creature to life. Since Everyone Can Be An Artist Kit is sold out in some sizes, this may be a great opportunity for some people who missed that.

Quick message: A new shirt came out today. It was one of those who were only some votes short of winning the grand prize, but due to their awesomeness we chose to have them printed anyway. We are happy to add its talented designer Mike Friedrich from our wonderful hometown Berlin to our range of winners.

And it’s true, we love zombies. They’re the handiest and most useful employees you can think of. Their amazing strength enables them to carry large boxes of shirts, they have no interest in forming a trade union, they don’t need social security, basically they don’t need any pay at all. We just feed them some fresh brains and meat (slaughterhouse litters will do) from time to time, and keep them locked up. Nature was my mother

First off, here is a work of Kevoe, a new artist at Scribtee.com. “Rachel Bilson” was his first submission to scribtee – and woosh! Here he is as a winner. Of course the beauty of actress Bilson helped here, but the way he conceived it as a shirt makes this a well deserved prize. Hope to see more from you in the future, Kev.
 
Second, here’s the second great prize in a row for Berlin design wunderkind Lars “The W” Wunderlich from Peachbeach designer collective. Whatever it is he depicted there – it is freaking freaky to the max. Yet he called it “Nature was my mother“. So, have some understanding for weird creatures with a bunch of tubes and tentacles as a face. Nature made them, just like me and you.

We have two new shirts in store. We’ll start with the one that has been waiting for a while until we had found the ideal colour combination. It now goes on a cream tee shirt.

I’m talking about Alvaro Arteaga’s “inverted pirate”: a wooden Pirate with a human leg. Arrrrrrrrr!!!

Second, and not less great: Djooous’ “Confuse A Cat Ltd.” which is most probably the greatest Monty Python T-Shirt in the universe (regarding there aren’t so many yet). It was inspired by this sketch of Monty Python’s Flying Circus. You have a cat that doesn’t do anything? Confuse A Cat Ltd. ist at your service. If you love Monty Python, you need to have this T-shirt. Fellow confusers, you may now buy the T-shirt!

Some of you may have recognised: Scribtee not only looks a bit different now, it also hosts a second design contest. In cooperation with LG, producer of electronic goodness, Scribtee.com presents: The Life’s Good When Life’s Pink contest.  

Your task:

Send us a design that shows why/ when Life is Good. The slogan can be part of the design, but it doesn’t have to be. The other mandatory instruction: the colour pink has to appear in the design. Be it on a pink shirt or as a part of the drawing. The rest is up to you – it just should transport a good, positive, optimistic mood.

And for those who are not skilled at pens, Photoshop or Illustrator this time we can offer a way to participate to creative minds who are better at playing with words. The

It is only a start, but already a nice one. We have redesigned Scribtee.com and made it a bit more stylish. We didn’t touch the essential functions though, that is: you won’t have to get used to too many new features. We’ll be happy to learn what you think of it and what is yet to improve, so don’t hesitate to let us know.

Another contest round with many great entries coming to an end (I think I should do another list of Honorable Mentions soon). There were sure some designs that would have fairly deserved to take away the jackpot of 500 € cash (and  50€ worth of clothes), but then only two per month can do so. In this case this was Benny Kohl aka whyme from Munich. He already won Scribtee when it wasn’t even called Scribtee with his design Just Loving Music. Well, this was quite some time ago, it is almost sold out and so why not print another design of him? He submitted a series of five great tees, of which Connected emerged as a favourite of yours and ours. It’s funny to think of Jesus and his disciples as nerds, with Jesus Christ laying down his new SEO strategy on a business supper.

Like Benny, this month’s other lucky winner Lars ‘The W’ Wunderlich is a well renounced tee shirt designer from Germany. He already had some hopeful submissions in the race, his Mr. Tool finally made it to the top spot. We are happy to finally offer this handy fella of designers a textile home. All of those who weren’t fast enough to grab the Artist Kit may like Mr Tool too. Check more of W’s awesome stuff at peachbeach.de, the design collective that he is part of.

“No limits for my imagination“, created by French artist CasaJordi is out. Admittedly, there are older Designs waiting to be released, but we are still working on optimizing these. We didn’t want to hold back this one though, and the results were quite good. We did this one in direct print in case you wonder why we skipped our five colour rule.

We are happy to say that this incredible collage came out with brilliance in all of its details. Here is the design in bigger than on the scribtee site so you can fully appreciate what this Photoshop-Kurt Schwitters has crafted together:

Wild Business

We have released a new tee shirt for your tee pleasure. It is called Wild Business and it is one for say … critics of capitalism. Lovers of good design. Tee maniacs. Women who always wanted to express what they think about the Alpha-male behaviour of business entrepreneurs, self-obsessed money makers, greedy speculators … or of course for men who think the same.

Wild Business was conceived by Jott (aka Tayo Gross) from Germany, the Designer who also created “All In Me“. If you’re interested you can learn more about him in our interview.
